The Los Angeles Philharmonic is an American Orchestra based in Los Angeles, California. The “L.A. Phil” operates with the intention of integrating 21st century music into its works and has been called one of the most forward thinking, contemporary and innovative orchestras in America. For this project I questioned what we naturally associate with music. I also began to consider the possibility of its evolving relationship with technology and how that could propel the genre into a new space.
Gentlemen’s Quarterly, or ‘GQ’ is a monthly magazine that focuses on pop culture, music, sports and fashion. Originally geared towards men, the magazine’s reader base has now expanded to include all genders and walks of life. In order to bring the magazine to the 21st century, I proposed a rebranding that would be centered around the theme of progress and inclusivity. For the inaugural issue I focused on three culturally relevant movements, Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ Pride and the Me Too.
It's 2020 and the American dream goes by the name 'clout' This dream of making it big is what SoundCloud, a music streaming platform, currently promises their users. With a low bar for entry, their user base of creators can get their 15 minutes of fame and possibly be ‘the next big thing.’ This rebrand's main goal is to instill credibility in the brands image and give the already strong platform a more unified front.

G-pal by Gaia’s is a bio-digestor that helps reduce food waste from being disposed in landfills. Gaia’s goal is to dramatically reduce food waste being disposed of in landfills and instead transform this waste stream into agricultural nutrients and renewable energy. Circularity and responsible consumption is at the core of Gaia and has informed the design of the system and the product, the G-pal.
NO ONE ASKED is the pandemic brainchild of Dani Davilla and Jade Huynh, two corporate millennials just trying to figure it out one avocado toast at a time. This podcast stemmed from both girls being laid off and each episode has the listener feeling like a fly on the wall of a best friend's smoke sesh. They're not sure where they're going or what they're talking about but they want you along for the ride regardless.
Candeur is an intimates line for women that channels inclusivity and mental health. It was founded on candid conversations, internal dialogues, and community. Candeur’s main mission is to disrupt narratives that are oppressive to certain body types and empower, strengthen and uplift women from all walks of life.
